Look around the Rentals Industry and you’ll notice one thing immediately: Most people look tired, stressed, confused, dehydrated, overfed, under-slept and one bad phone call away from collapsing on a staircase. Agents dragging their feet... Landlords breathing like they’ve just outrun a lion... Caretakers with headaches from Monday to Monday... Extremely slow gate keepers...

This industry exposes every weakness in your body.

If your health is poor, the Rentals Industry will embarrass you publicly, financially and spiritually. In all ways.

You can’t hide it. Poor health shows up in a hundred ways:

You walk two plots and your knees start negotiating peace treaties...

You climb stairs and reach the landing coughing like a faulty generator...

Tenants ask one question and your brain freezes...

You forget appointments you promised 10 minutes ago...

You take long phone calls sitting down because standing makes you dizzy...

You can't sleep because your caretaker resigned...

You argue with plumbers because you’re too tired to think clearly...

Your mood swings confuse even yourself—calm at 8, irritated at 8:07...

You can’t handle disrespect from clients because your emotional tank is empty...

Your sales pitch collapses because your voice is weak and your confidence is low...

You look stressed, your shirt is wet, your breath is loud, your energy is low—
and people can smell weakness from 50 meters away.

In this game, your body is your office.
Your legs are your transport.
Your brain is your negotiation weapon.
Your voice is your marketing.
Your mood is your customer service.
Your stamina is your income.
Your presence is your authority.

If any of those collapse, bro… your business collapses too.

This industry is not kind.
It doesn't give breaks.
It doesn't care about your feelings.
It doesn't wait for you to “feel better.”

The Rentals Industry is:

Physical – You walk all day, climb staircases, carry keys, open rusty doors, check dozens of units, and meet people nonstop.

Mental – Prices, locations, directions, landlord rules, tenant requirements, endless questions—it’s a mental marathon.

Emotional – Rejections, lies, ghosting, disrespectful clients, late payments, unrealistic expectations, pressure to close deals.

And the worst part?

Everybody expects you to perform at your best while draining you like a faulty Nairobi transformer.

This is why weak health is a death sentence here.

Only the strong, energized, sharp, hydrated, disciplined, well-rested, emotionally stable players survive.

Only those with supreme health dominate.
And only those who dominate get paid.

This industry rewards speed, calmness, sharp thinking, endurance, resilience, charm, and physical presence— all of which come from peak health.

If you don’t take your health seriously, the Rentals Industry will humble you mercilessly.

But if you elevate your health, you gain superpowers:

Walking 8–12 km with ease

Climbing stairs without panting

Talking confidently

Thinking clearly

Negotiating strongly

Closing deals fast

Handling pressure like a warrior

Earning more with less stress

Attracting respect without asking for it

And still attending to your spouse and family like a competent realtor.

Peak health is not just “self-care.”

It is your competitive advantage.
It is your survival.
It is your money-maker.
It is your power.

There are 7 principles of good health you should follow to be achieve supreme health.

1. THE DIET THAT MAKES YOU A LION IN REAL ESTATE BUSINESS

If you want to remain healthy, energetic, mentally sharp and emotionally calm between waking up and sleeping,

You must eat healthy food.

Eat high protein, high fat and low carbohydrates food.

Meats, Eggs, Omena, Organs like Liver, Matumbo, Gizzards...

Bone soup is very nutritious.

Non starchy vegetables like cabbage, sukuma wiki, pumpkin leaves, managu, kunde leaves, onions, spices like pilipili...

These make you feel full without overloading you with sugary carbohydrates.

The most ideal sources of carbohydrates are legumes like ndengu, beans, cow peas...

Pumpkin and green bananas.

Roots (like arrowroot), Fruits (like watermelon) and seeds (like maize/wheat/rice) are not very ideal. Why?

They are digested into sugar, raise insulin, cause sugar crash and most diseases stem from insulin resistance.

If you are fat, or you have diabetes, arthritis, erectile issues, memory problems...

Avoid carbohydrates.

Eat a combination like cabbage+ matumbo+ avocado.

Yes the only fruits truthful doctors like Doctor Kimbo recommend are avocados, coconuts and guavas when in season.

If you are healthy like me, you can eat complex carbohydrates in a combo like Beans+ pumpkin (mashed) + Beef. or

Gizzards+ matoke+ avocado+ bone soup.

Cook your food with animal fats. The most available that you can guarantee that it is genuine is beef fat. You just buy from the butchery and render it.

For maximum health and energy, eat in the afternoons and early evenings. Between 3 pm and 7 pm.

Ideally eat only one meal a day (OMAD).
Never eat more than 2 meals.

2. AVOID CONSUMING THE FOLLOWING THINGS IF YOU WANT PERFECT HEALTH AND ENERGY

Anything wrapped/processed as food is actually not food. Crisps, yoghurt, bread...

Carbonated drinks don't give you energy or hydration. They are giving you cancer, insulin resistance, diabetes, dementia and hormonal imbalance...

Artificial foods like spaghetti, tomato sauce, ringos, candy, GMO fruits, "fruit" juices should never enter your mouth.

Milk is food for mammalian babies. Not realtors.

Avoid cooking food with salad oils. These were not originally manufactured for human consumption. They are engine oils.

They are extremely inflammatory and are one major reason cancer and PCOS are on the rise.

Fruits are not healthy, except avocado, guavas and nuts.

Fruits have so much Fructose (fruit sugar) which during metabolism will produce metabolites that cause gouts (purines).

Table sugar and honey are sugar. Same WhatsApp group as fruits.

If you are taking alcohol in any of its forms, you are not meant for business.

Ladies, avoid consuming hormonal contraceptives and cosmetic products. They are slowly sending you to sayuni.

Nearly all women with PCOS (Fibroids, irregular/painful periods, infertility) or hormonal imbalance are consumers of hormonal contraceptives or lotions/make-up.

Many cases of breast cancer are women with history of long-term use of these contraceptives.

They also change how you think.

Avoid them.

3. PROPER HYDRATION IS MANDATORY IF YOU WANT MAXIMUM BODY PERFORMANCE

Most people in this sacred industry live in a constant state of dehydration and hyponatremia.

They consume little to no water.

They avoid salt because someone lied to them that salt causes high blood pressure.

So, they end up with extremely high stress, low energy, feeling lazy, hungry all the time, disoriented, low memory, insomnia and low blood pressure which affects their performance.

Most men will get harder erections if they took enough water with salt.

Our brains are electronic devices that require plenty of salts and water to function.

Ideally, sip (do not gulp) 2 litres of salted water daily. That's water + salt. Not plain water.

Sugarless black coffee or sugarless black/green tea– 2 large mugs. Due to high caffeine content, drink this before noon.

In the afternoon, while still sipping salted water at regular intervals, sip herbals.

These could be boiled ginger water, cinnamon, black pepper, turmeric, cloves. Personally I mix all these to make a great flavor.

My office smells heavenly because of these.

Other than hydrating, all these herbs have been proven to have other health benefits.

They give you plenty of energy, slow aging, fight inflammation, improve your brain health, raise testosterone in men and balance hormones in all of us.

If you can sip 1 litre of these (3 mugs), you'll never run out of energy.

Finally, zoea kukunywa supu.

This is best consumed before your first meal at 3–5 pm.

So in total you'll have consumed about 4 litres of water.

By the way, properly hydrated people don't feel hungry and they don't suffer sunburns.

Try this trick tomorrow morning starting 6 am– 6 pm.

Don't drink after 6 pm to avoid sleep disruption by too much peeing.

4. PHYSICAL EXERCISES are almost more important than anything else.

Weight Lifting is not negotiable if you want to be healthy. Stop lying to yourself that you are fit just because you are not fat.

Go to the gym 3–4 days a week. This means alternating days. MON, WED, FRI, SUN, TUE, THU, SAT...

Since you are not a body builder, focus on full body workouts. Train your legs, back, chest, abs, shoulders and arms.

Squats, Lunges, Calf Raises, Deadlifts, Pull ups, Bench, Overhead press, Rows, Shrugs, Bicep/leg curls and leg/elbow extensions are very effective exercises.

2 hours is an ideal time.

The days you are not lifting weights should be for WALKING. Walk for 2 hours in the sun. Si you are hydrating well? The sun is your ally.

If your work involves walking all day, like house hunting agents, good. Your work is fantastic.
Physical exercises stimulate your brain, muscles and bones.
Your heart depends on them.

Your hormones and general health are determined by this active lifestyle.

It's not late to start. A 62 year old landlord can start going to the gym tomorrow morning.
A 90kg Agency owner should definitely start working out immediately.

Women should lift weights too. Even pregnant women and those past menopause.
We are tired of dealing with unfit caretakers in our rentals.

5. EXPOSE AS MUCH SKIN TO AS MUCH SUNLIGHT AS POSSIBLE

Sunlight exposure is free therapy that most hospitals don't want you to know.

Most of you think the sun gives you vitamin D. It stimulates the skin to start the process of making vitamin D from cholesterol.

Yes, cholesterol is very important.

Sunlight exposure balances other hormones, improves immunity, mood and sleep.

If you can get sun shirtless, it's very healthy.

Stay in the sun for as long as your body likes.

Well hydrated skins don't suffer sunburns.

In Kenya, we are adapted to the sun from the day we are born. Avoid sunscreens unless you have albinism.

6. SLEEP AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE

After a day full of battles, treat your Body with deep sleep.

Take a shower, eat by 7 pm and be in bed by 10 pm if you are waking up at 6 am.

Target 8 hours of sleep.

So, if you wake up at 5 am, be in bed by 9 pm.

God knows you don't need to watch TV news.

Avoid alarms. If you sleep early and well, your brain should restart in 7–9 hours.

Do not force yourself to stay awake no matter what. Even during the day. Go get some sleep.

Sleeping is the best way to rest.

Sleep in a cool, pitch dark, very quiet room.

Have a conformable bed or you sleep on the floor. Very healthy.

Don't sleep on the couch or on the chair.

Sleep naked in a mosquito net so you don't have night battles.

Most health issues happen due to lack of enough sleep.

Memory loss, stress, hormonal imbalance, fast aging and erectile dysfunction.

7. AVOID UNNECESSARY STRESS AND MANAGE STRESSORS

Stress is the greatest accelerator of aging and degeneration in most people.

Rentals Industry is full of stressors and a little stress is good.

However, having low stress tolerance or not having ability to manage stress and stressors, you become a victim.

You start looking older, being unhappy, losing optimisms, your relationships start failing and your health deteriorates rapidly.

First, follow all the advice we have given from tip 1–6. They make you strong and less affected by stress.

To avoid stress, Manage your rentals like we have advised here and here.

Communicate properly with your associates because this prevents stress in the long run.

Avoid unnecessary relationships. Why would you sleep with a tenant, a colleague or outrightly wrong people?

Avoid illegal activities.

Cultivate friendships with the right people. Like you should befriend the many digital marketers of Renters Hub
